This is a note for myself.

Something reminds me to my dearest guru, Philip Kitley. He said, “…the word ‘to tolerate’ is about power. By saying “I tolerate” you, you show of having higher position than others. And there is an interesting philosophical question about the word to tolerate” (Philip to me, lunch@bamboo 25/11/2010).

When one day someone tells us of not having wisdom to accept his/her wisdom – we are talking about a similar interesting philosophical question too. Perhaps sometimes we should recognize good wisdom when we claim ourselves as a wise person – even if it means overcoming our pride and opening our mind beyond what is comfortable. Especially when we accuse someone of having arrogance just because we don’t like what they are saying.

Then perhaps, it is a time to recognize that we are not in the center of the universe, not even in the center of our own private universe – yet we cannot face it.
