A note to parents (and to my self)

A note to every parent and future parent, including myself. Children learn what they live.

So, if you are an asshole, how can you expect them to be good person? If you f-this and f-that and s-this and s-that, how can you expect them not to fuck up and shit their life? And how can you wish they will live their life to the fullest, if you kill them slowly by swearing, hitting, smacking, kicking and empty their soul by taking their dignity?

How do you expect your kids will grow beautifully with limited loving words, with very little caring thoughts, with small amount of thoughtful mind, with lack of good deeds?

However, …
All parents damage their children. It cannot be helped. Youth, like pristine glass, absorbs the prints of its handlers. Some parents smudge, others crack, a few shatter childhoods completely into jagged little pieces, beyond repair.
— Mitch Albom (The Five People You Meet in Heaven)
