Today I found that live is just a bloody hard slog. I hope I didn’t overstate it. Huh. It took me for a little while to sense “something happen” in my supervisor’s room. There you are. I was informed my other supervisor will move to University of Canberra. Ring a bell!!!!! I am getting to use to losing supervisor(s). Rumour has it the path of PhD is lonely, long and rocky. Well, it is not 100% true, tho. How can it be so lonely if supervisor(s) keep on coming in and out of my PhD? At least it keeps me busy because finding an excellent supervisor it’s like finding a needle in a haystack, in terms you must find someone is compatible and meets your needs. Ya ampun. It’s a lonely road, indeed, but damn if I would give up trekking down that road.
By the way, have you ever read Robert Frost’s poem – The road not taken (1920)?
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
